An interesting special provision in 18th Revision of the UN model Regulations, in respect of UN3077 and UN3082, Environmentally hazardous substances
Special Provision 375: These substances when transported in single or combination packagings containing a net quantity per single or inner packaging of 5L or less for liquids or having a net mass of 5kg or less for solids, are not subject to any other provisions of these Regulations provided the packagings meet the general provisions of 4.1.1.1, 4.1.1.2 and 4.1.1.4 to 4.1.1.8.

We look forward to seeing this included into the next amendments of road, sea and air regulations.
